This competitive award recognizes Dr. Klimova’s innovative course, Taboo Desires through a Global Lens: Exploring Sex, Love, and Unconventional Romance in Film and Literature, which explores representations of unconventional relationships in literature and film across cultures.
The FELT Grant supports the integration of hands-on learning and emerging technologies into course design. Through this initiative, Dr. Klimova will further develop experiential components that enhance student engagement with complex topics such as gender, sexuality, cultural norms, and social boundaries.
