Aleksey Berg

Dr. Berg was born in St. Petersburg, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics. He has lived and worked in the United States for almost twenty years, teaching Russian language and culture at Boston College, Middlebury College, MIT, and the University of South Carolina. After he received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2013, he has worked at the University of Pennsylvania and, most recently, at the College of New Jersey where he has served as Director of Russian Studies since 2016. He is currently teaching Russian at the University of Houston.
