Em O’Shea

Em O'Shea is a PhD candidate in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh. Em has previously studied French and Russian at the Bachelor's level, as well as Russian at the Master's level. Em's research interests are diverse, relating to Russia and the post-Yugoslav area of the Balkans. Specifically, Em is interested in questions of contemporary culture, modernity, and the movement of peoples.
