Kasym Orozbaev

Kasym Orozbaev is a PhD student in the joint Slavic and Film and Media Studies program at the University of Pittsburgh. After completing his graduate studies at the Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), he taught at the American University of Central Asia. His research focuses on Soviet culture and society, the Cold War, and the politics of art.
